BOBBY VEAL (MILK-FED)
The lean nutritious meat derived from carcases 15-30kg is produced in South-Eastern Australia with an established base of clientelle throughout Asia and the Middle East, who are using this extremely tender product as a point of difference in their product range.

STIRK VEAL
Produced from carcases 70-150kg the natural succession from milk-feeding to grass-feeding ensures the product has the beginnings of grass-fed flavour with the added bonus of extra-tender primal cuts suitable for food service.

   
BEEF
Raised through from Southern Tasmania to Northern Queensland; primal-cuts, sliced, diced, portion-control, specialty-cuts for catering, food-service. Beef cuts are easily obtained and consolidated by either air or sea for every market.

Wagyu, Long and Short-fed Grain-fed, Grass-fed with or without marble-score.

   
LAMB
The southern-Australian climate and feed quality allows high-quality lambs to be produced consistently all year round. From these lambs primal cuts can be selected for the end-user paying close attention to customer specifications.

   
MUTTON
Often sought-after on specific chef-requests, mutton is also a popular frozen primal and full-carcase product and available for all markets including the Middle East, Asia and North America.

Meat Tender utilise their specialised knowledge in shipping over 150 fcl shipments of mutton into these markets each year.

At Meat Tender, maintaining the highest standards is our priority. And one we ensure our quality with regular site visits to producers to ensure that the quality specifications are being met. We only deliver product in which we have full confidence of both the supply chain and processing capabilities of the producer.

Standards and Inspection

We are lucky that Australia has industry benchmarks for policing and ensuring integrity of all certified meat exports. Namely with AQIS (Australian Government Quarantine and Inspection Service) and AUSMEAT(Meat-Standards Australia). No meat leaves Australia without accreditation and certification by the above bodies, ON EVERY SHIPMENT.

Quality Management

Under internationally recognised Quality Management Systems: ISO 9001: 2000. Additionally, the country’s producers are leaders in HACCP (quality control management program applies to all growers, handlers and processors).

Technical

More than simply "meat exports", Meat Tender covers hands-on practical demonstrations and complex programming of multi-species procurement and finalising export documentation to be compliant for air and sea shipment.

Based on individual needs, Meat Tender provides chilled and frozen products from primal cuts through to portion cuts of beef, lamb, veal, mutton, venison, goat and buffalo. As the needs of our clients range from 5-star fine dining to manufacturing product, we select from processors who can meet the required specifications.

Meat Tender also conduct workshops on how to further process meat products; assist with product development and work with end users in costing existing products as well as developing new product lines. We are currently working with processors to produce items for banquet and airline catering that are specialised in application.
